“You have saved my life.”. This article about “saving a solier’s life” just because of receiving a carepackage from home is no joke! Think of yourself being out in the middle of nowhere and “snail mail” being your only means of contact to the people you love. Now what if no one bothered to take the time to sit down and write because it was “inconvienent”? How would you feel?

Operation Gratitude doesn’t wait for the enlisted to put their names on a list. They activly get lists of the deployed and send them out. But they need YOUR help. Get a small group of friends together to write letters. Sit down with your family for “quality family time.” If you can afford it, make a monetary donation.

I will be sending my own package out soon with Beanie’s in it for the deployed. I gathered them up from a collection I’ve been holding onto for years. What are they stored in a box? They will be put to much better use by Operation Gratitude!!!
